Sunday School Weekly Update
Hey everyone!
Here's our weekly update about what we talked about in Sunday School.
***First: we had 17 youth in our Sunday School class today!! WOWerz!!! ***
Second: we continued our talk about Sex! We talked about about "when someone is ready to have sex". Most of the kids have known or do know someone who has a baby, and/or has had sex. We had an open ended discussion of when our kids think someone can be ready to have sex. This conversation, like all of our conversations, was an open ended conversation.
Most kids agreed that the ideal situation would be to wait till marriage, but there was discussion that the "ideal situation" isn't always what happens. We also talked about ages of when people "should" have sex, or what situation they should be in. We agreed that not only do we need to be in a healthy/stable relationship, but need to be in a situation where we were able to handle the consequences.
